Pakistan\'s IT exports surge by 28% to $1.86b

Pakistan’s IT exports have risen by 28%, reaching $1.86 billion, with further growth expected in the coming months, Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced on Sunday. Speaking at LEAP 2025 during the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum, Khawaja highlighted the government’s commitment to expanding Pakistan’s digital economy. She described the Digital Nation Act 2025 as a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening the country's tech and innovation landscape. "The Digital Nation Act 2025 is a pledge to transform Pakistan’s digital economy," she said, adding that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are enhancing their digital and economic partnership.
