Govt coordinating closely with provinces to implement World Bank’s CPF, says Cheema
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema said that the government is closely coordinating with all provincial governments to effectively achieve the World Bank’s Country Partnership Framework (CPF) objectives. The minister made his remarks during a meeting with Bolormaa Amgaabazar, Country Director of the World Bank, read a statement on Wednesday. The discussion focused on the key outcomes of the CPF, a 10-year Framework for Pakistan (FY2026–FY2035), with a support of $20 billion for development projects and reform programs. While discussing the CPF, the meeting also discussed programs aimed at reducing child stunting through the provision of clean water, improved sanitation systems, better healthcare, and proper nutrition.
