Pakistan sees FY26 GDP growth at 3.7%
Pakistan’s gross domestic product is expected to grow at 3.7% in the fiscal year ending June 2026, after logging growth of 3.2% in the previous year, its planning minister said on Monday. Pakistan’s economy grew by 3.99% year-on-year in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025-26, with industry emerging as the key driver, according to the latest data released by the National Accounts Committee (NAC). The latest figures, compiled by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, overall GDP for Q1 and Q2 for FY 2025-26 have witnessed revised upward growth of 3.92% and 4.05%, as compared to 3.63% and 3.89% estimated in the 116th NAC meeting.
