Aurangzeb reaffirms commitment to Medium-Term Tax Strategy

The Government of Pakistan will stay the course on its reform agenda to strengthen macroeconomic stability, improve competitiveness, and support sustainable economic growth. Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb made these remarks while chairing a meeting with members of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) during his visit to Karachi, where discussions centred on Pakistan's economic outlook, the reform agenda, and the Government's economic priorities. Appreciating PBC for bringing together leading representatives of the business community on a single platform, Senator Aurangzeb acknowledged its continued role in promoting constructive dialogue between the Government and the private sector on key economic and policy issues, said a press release issued.
