FM reviews corporate, capital market reforms at SECP
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb visited the headquarters of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), where he chaired a high-level meeting to review matters related to the corporate and financial sectors. During the meeting, SECP Chairman Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu gave a detailed briefing to the Finance Minister. The SECP commissioners also attended the meeting. The participants discussed matters relating to the corporate sector, capital markets, and the non-banking financial sector. They also reviewed measures aimed at promoting investment and developing capital markets. The meeting further deliberated on improving the ease of doing business and promoting company registrations.
