Pakistan, Saudi Arabia deepen strategic ties

Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday to discuss recent regional developments following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The two sides underscored the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement to promote regional stability and reviewed ongoing efforts aimed at advancing peace and cooperation, according to APP. The Saudi ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and security, including its engagement through the R-4 mechanism and its contribution to facilitating the Islamabad MoU. Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations across areas of mutual interest.
