Zuma Resources to split shares 5-for-1 after shareholder approval

Zuma Resources Limited (PSX: ZUMA) shareholders have approved sub-dividing the company's ordinary shares from a face value of Rs10 each to Rs2 each, splitting each existing share into five ordinary shares, at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on August 1, 2026, at the company's registered office. The resolution passed under Section 85(1)(c) of the Companies Act, 2017, keeps the company's total authorized, issued, subscribed and paid-up capital unchanged. Following the sub-division, the number of issued ordinary shares will rise from 14,100,000 shares of Rs10 each to 70,500,000 shares of Rs2 each, while the issued, subscribed and paid-up capital remains at Rs141,000,000. There will be no change in the rights and privileges attached to the shares.
