Petrol price down by Rs1.70, HSD’s up by Rs1.39

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has updated ex-depot fuel prices, offering minor relief to petrol consumers while increasing high-speed diesel (HSD) costs. The price adjustment includes a Rs 2 per litre increase in the petroleum levy (PL) applied to HSD, effective August 12. According to the notification of Petroleum Division, the price of HSD has been increased by Rs 1.39 per litre, shifting the ex-depot price from Rs 380.86 to Rs 382.25 per litre. While, petrol price has decreased by Rs 1.70 per litre, dropping the price from Rs 327.62 to Rs 325.92 per litre.
